The Eliot is a four-star luxury suite hotel located on tree-lined Commonwealth St, instead of the bustle of Newbury St. a block away. It was built in 1925 and a renovation was completed in 1994. It is known to be one of the best hotels for a romantic getaway. The lobby is cozy with a crystal chandelier and decorated with porcelain, historical documents and photographs on the walls. The Eliot has an intimate atmosphere with elegant furnishings.
