Aujourd'hui is a spacious room, lined with oak panelling and potted palms. Oil paintings and prints grace the walls, and tables are set off by Italian damask linen and decorated with antique plates, complemented by fresh flowers. The Boston Public Garden: The oldest botanical garden in America, located across Charles Street from the Boston Common, it remains a green and flowering oasis in the heart of the city. Take some time for a slow Swan Boat ride on the lagoon. They operate, weather permitting, from mid April to mid September. Fifteen-minute long cruises are offered daily.
